Who is the provider and what makes her qualified?

Dr. Dinora Ingberman, MD, is a board‑certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Medical Acupuncture, with over 30 years of experience. She founded Pain Healing Clinic in 2006, and her credentials include UCLA medical acupuncture training, homeopathy certification, and ongoing affiliations with Northwestern and NorthShore Hospitals.

What types of treatments do you offer?

We offer a holistic, non‑invasive range of services, including:

  • IASIS microcurrent neurofeedback for chronic pain with anxiety/insomnia

  • Thorough pain diagnosis (records review + exam)

  • Pain medication management and weaning plans

  • Prolotherapy (dextrose injections to strengthen joints)

  • Medical acupuncture & homeopathy

  • Wound care for post‑surgical and chronic wounds

Which conditions are treated at the clinic?

We treat a wide variety of pain conditions, including arthritis, back/neck/joint pain, sports and work injuries, nerve pain (e.g., neuralgia, neuropathy), chronic pelvic pain, spinal stenosis, post-surgical pain, CRPS, and more .

How do you approach pain differently from other clinics?

Our approach is personalized and holistic. We start with a detailed root-cause diagnosis, combine traditional and complementary therapies (acupuncture, neurofeedback, prolotherapy), minimize reliance on pain medications, and coordinate care with your primary doctor

We have two convenient Chicagoland locations:

  • Skokie: 4709 Golf Rd, Suite 300 (Tue/Thu 4–7 PM; Fri 8 AM–3 PM; Sun 10 AM–12 PM)

  • Gurnee: 495 N Riverside Dr, Suite 102 (Mon 8–11:30 AM; Wed 1–6 PM)
